So to remedy this i removed my old elicenser, downloaded the latest in the hope of reactivating my licence but when i opened up the new elicenser, the previous cubase AI install was already there.

Hi, im installing a copy of cubase AI and have put the activation code in to the eliscencer before downloading the download assistant which has caused download assistant to believe the code has already been used, which it has, on the computer i'm trying to install it on! I made the mistake as i already had elicenser installed, tbh i did not realise how convoluted the Steinberg install process was.
